This is pure speculation. No one outside of OpenAI has any knowledge of when this capability will be released.

Thank you so much @anon22939549 - this was reported by two developers from Zapier about integration of the new GPT-4o features, in response to a support ticket. I’ll report back your response. Appreciate the quick reply.

That’s been popping up since the Spring Update event. It doesn’t mean anything right now with respect to when the v2v capability will become available.

I look everyday for updates, especially the feature to chat with voice + video in the API.

You can probably relax a bit. It will most likely be several weeks to a few months.

Can we at least have the API specification released please? It would allow the developers to prepare and plan the application design.

Same for me, I took a Plus account just for that because it is a total Game Changer in the voice interraction. So magic, I was hinking it was a fake until a demo at Vivatech. Far beyond cutting the edges Microsoft tech (Custom Neuro Voice, …).

Just be patient, at least in the end of 2024, u guys can have Sora and Realtime Voice! :smile:

if they actually tell you how long it will take they wont get paid by the subscription (since its not worth it to pay 20 bucks just to wait like everyone else) and lose a chunk of their income, and possibly impact negatively on their end. so they keep it vague. Id suggest not investing your time in…
