Getting a BAA from OpenAI for HIPAA?

From what I understand, OpenAI does not grant BAAs? Can anyone confirm or deny? Has anyone had success getting a HIPAA BAA from OpenAI?

And sorry for the acronym soup too. BAA is a business-associate agreement. HIPAA is a bill that protects patient health data.

EDIT: I found a good answer on a similar post. The best current workaround is getting an AI Studio account from Microsoft Azure and piggybacking off them.

A quick search of this forum turns up

HIPAA Business Associates Agreement

Does that answer your question in that it has been asked by many users many times with no conclusive result?

Not particularly. It’s most people asking the same question.

However, there is one comment that brings up an option of using OpenAI through Azure and piggy-backing off of Azure. Thank you, Eric.

We are able to sign Business Associate Agreements (BAA) in support of customers’ compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Please reach read more in our BAA FAQ: How can I get a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with OpenAI? | OpenAI Help Center
