Frequent error status 524 from OpenAI API endpoint https://api.openai.com/v1/chat/completions

The OpenAI API endpoint https://api.openai.com/v1/chat/completions frequently returns an error status 524. Could you please investigate this issue and let me know if there is a solution?

I’m not an OpenAI representative. But like you, a user. I thought I’d reply as I suspect you will get no other reply. I have seen very few user requests responded to. So I thought I’d let you know.

I did get random errors myself today. And just read of someone else having odd errors. So you are not alone.

I’ve had some of those too, also some “gateway” errors, randomly,
latency is also random for identical prompts, from 20s to well over a minute

Yeah currently I am making api to retry 3 times in failling
