ssue Description:
I am experiencing a persistent issue where ChatGPT is unable to store and provide files for download. Specifically:

  • File creation (Excel, CSV, JSON) works, but downloading fails.
  • Error message received: GetDownloadLinkError: Encountered exception: <class ‘file_service_client.client.GetDownloadLinkError’>.
  • Attempted solutions: I have tried different file formats (XLSX, CSV, JSON), deleted old files, and restarted the process multiple times. None of these actions have resolved the issue.
  • The issue persists across multiple file exports and prevents me from retrieving necessary documents.

Could you please investigate and provide a fix or alternative method for downloading files?

Additional Information:

  • The problem persists across different file types and session resets.
  • Even after clearing the workspace and attempting a fresh export, the issue remains.

Same problem here! Started several days ago. Unable to create single JSON file for download! chatGPT wants me to copy & paste from the code window, stitch the file together manually on my side. Think its time to cancel my subscription and move to a free “whale” alternative! :slight_smile:

When chatgpt has a larger file for me, i can’t download it, it either massively truncates my data and this is a mess, please Openai do something about this and provide an update so i can resume my project.
