💬 Feature Request: View full chat while using Voice Mode in ChatGPT

Hi OpenAI team!

I’d like to share a feature suggestion that could significantly improve the experience for users who work on technical tasks using Voice Mode in ChatGPT — especially programmers and data analysts.

:light_bulb: Feature Request: Enable chat visibility during Voice Mode

The problem:
When using Voice Mode, it’s currently not possible to see the ongoing conversation — including code snippets, previous messages, or files shared by the assistant. This makes it harder to use the tool efficiently while speaking.

Suggested solution:
Allow the user to see the chat while Voice Mode is active. It could be a floating or collapsible chat window, or even just real-time transcription embedded in the main interface.

Why this is useful:
As someone who uses ChatGPT to write and debug code, I often need to reference or copy parts of the assistant’s response. Not being able to view the messages during Voice Mode really limits the productivity and flow.
Being able to talk and see the chat at the same time would massively improve the experience — and honestly, it would feel a lot like talking to an AI assistant in a sci-fi movie (It would feel just like talking to Jarvis from Iron Man).

:speaking_head: I noticed another user [@joaquinjimenezgrguez]suggested something similar, and I wanted to reinforce it from a technical user perspective.

Thanks for the amazing work — and I hope this idea makes it into future updates!

Cheers,
Caio
