Feature Request: Social, Forum, and Blog Search Mode for ChatGPT

Idea: A search mode in ChatGPT that automatically searches social media posts, forums, and blogs.

Many valuable insights on the internet come from real human experiences rather than company-written articles. Platforms such as social media, forums, and personal blogs often contain real experiences and niche knowledge that are not captured well by standard search results.

This would dramatically reduce the time needed to extract useful insights from real people. Just imagine searching any topic and instantly getting posts from places like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, Reddit, Quora, WordPress, Blogspot, Tumblr and endless other social, forum and blog platforms all at once.

In closing, a search mode labeled “Social, Forum, and Blog” could quickly and effortlessly unlock a gold mine of knowledge that would normally require slow, difficult, manual searching across many different platforms. Since most people already go to social media apps, this mode would be hugely useful for everyone.

For many people, that mode could very easily become their default “go-to” search engine.

A ChatGPT mode that:

  • Instantly pulls from thousands of social media, forum, and blog platforms
  • Summarizes them into clear insights

Boom — suddenly, everyone gets human answers faster than ever before.
