Feature Request: Self-Improving ChatGPT That Automates Global Difficulty

The idea: What if ChatGPT could detect repeated difficulties across global conversations and automatically suggest automations to OpenAI, making life easier for everyone?

How it could work:

  • Daily, ChatGPT detects patterns of repeated difficulties across conversations, identifying areas in answers that are commonly challenging.
  • The AI proposes automations for those areas.
  • Answers become increasingly partially automated, reducing effort for everyone.

Result:

  • Automations could be implemented directly in responses, reducing difficulty on a global scale.
  • The AI continuously learns from user interactions, improving its future responses.
  • Applied globally, this creates a self-improving system of efficiency benefiting millions of users simultaneously.

In short, this feature could continually make answers easier to understand, smarter, and more automated, continuously reducing global difficulty.

Hey @z2sb7i9w, interesting idea.

In practice, systems like ChatGPT already improve over time using aggregated feedback, evaluations, and usage patterns to identify where responses can be improved. The kind of “global difficulty detection → automation generation” loop you’re describing is an interesting extension of that concept.

Appreciate you sharing the suggestion,  we’ll pass the idea along to the team.
