I recently experienced a very frustrating situation where my API credit grants ($275 in total) expired on March 1st, and my balance was suddenly reset to $0.
The most painful part is that I did not receive a single warning email about the upcoming expiration.
While I understand it is ultimately my responsibility to check the billing dashboard, as an indie developer focusing hard on building and marketing apps, it is incredibly easy to miss this. Losing such a significant amount of credits without any heads-up is a huge blow to solo developers trying to get their products off the ground.
Feature Request: Could the team please implement an automated email notification system for expiring credits? Sending a simple alert 3
0 days and 7 days before the expiration date would be incredibly helpful, user-friendly, and prevent unexpected disruptions to our development cycles.
Has anyone else experienced this silent expiration? I really hope the team can consider this feedback to improve the developer experience.
