I’d really like to see native Australian English voices added to ChatGPT Voice.
The current voices are clear and capable, but none of them sound naturally Australian. For Australians who use voice mode regularly, having a genuinely local voice would make conversations feel much more natural and familiar.
I’m not talking about an exaggerated “Aussie accent” or a stereotypical tourism-ad voice. I mean a normal, contemporary Australian English voice, ideally with both male and female options.
There are already regional voices for other English-speaking markets, so it would be great to see Australia represented as well.
I’d definitely use an Australian voice as my default if one were available.
Would be interested to hear whether other Australian users feel the same.
