Right now the frontend looks like chatgpt webpage or some random note taking app, which is a bit dull, and themes are limited to colors. Can we add a terminal-like theme (would be worth only for the vibes)? or at least make the appearance more customizable? Thank you

I would love the app to have more appearance customization too, specially colors! for headings etc.
But for now I guess you could use a fancier terminal like Ghostty and use the Codex CLI from that?
Hey @ryuuji, totally get what you mean. Adding more theme options and deeper customization would definitely make the app feel more dynamic beyond the current color-based themes.
At the moment, customization in the Codex app is limited to the options under Settings → Appearance (theme, UI/code fonts, etc.), which you can see outlined in the Codex app settings documentation.
