Feature Request: Custom Syntax Highlighting for Mr.Karen Programming Language
Hello OpenAI team!
I would like to suggest a feature that allows users to add custom programming languages to ChatGPT’s code blocks, including custom syntax highlighting.
About Mr.Karen
Mr.Karen is a programming language I designed with its own syntax, commands, and programming concepts. It is designed for creating interactive applications, games, chatbots, and other projects.
Some of its commands include:
- “qernn” — text and output
- “ttyy” — variables
- “uii” — conditions
- “hhyy” — loops
- “Game” — game development
- “KKC” — character models
- “Physics” — physics and collision behavior
- “Timer” — timers
- “kattooy” — AI integration
For example, I would like to write code like this in ChatGPT:
{{qernn 1 (“Hello, Karen!”)}}
Currently, ChatGPT does not appear to recognize “Mr.Karen” as a language for syntax highlighting.
My suggestion
It would be great if ChatGPT supported:
1. A custom language label such as “Mr.Karen”.
2. Syntax highlighting for custom commands and keywords.
3. A way for users or developers to define and register syntax rules for their own programming languages.
4. Better support for new and independently developed programming languages.
This feature could help developers share code written in their own languages more clearly and make ChatGPT more flexible for programming communities.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
If you are interested in supporting the Mr.Karen programming language, I would be happy to provide the complete documentation, including all syntax rules, commands, language specifications, and examples, to help your team implement accurate syntax highlighting.
Thank you for considering my proposal!
