Subject: Feature Request: Add Notifications in ChatGPT
Dear OpenAI Team,
I am a regular user of ChatGPT and greatly appreciate its advanced capabilities in assisting with productivity. However, I believe there is one essential feature missing that could make it even more useful: notifications and reminders within the app.
Why is this feature important?
1. Enhancing productivity – The ability to set reminders within ChatGPT would help users keep track of their daily tasks efficiently.
2. Supporting healthy habits – ChatGPT could be a powerful tool for tracking physical activity, workouts, or even reminding users to drink water.
3. Better integration with daily life – Currently, I can create schedules and tasks with ChatGPT, but without notifications, I have to check them manually, which reduces effectiveness.
4. A standard feature in modern apps – Most applications today support notifications, and it’s surprising that ChatGPT, being such an intelligent and advanced tool, does not yet have this capability.
Suggested Implementation
• Allow users to set reminders within the chat, such as:
• “Remind me to exercise at 7 PM.”
• “Send me a notification to drink water every two hours.”
• Integrate with mobile notifications so ChatGPT can send alerts directly to smart devices.
I hope you consider adding this feature, as it would make ChatGPT even more effective in daily life. Thank you for developing such an amazing tool, and I look forward to seeing this feature in the future!
Best regards,
[Majed]
