This isn’t a want, it’s a need.

This data is critical to training and learning for personal / team use. Using a third party app or going over every chat session and copy and pasting won’t work for security and the amount of time it would take.

Make it so you can only esport your own data, keep personal/team data safe… I don’t care. I just need my data.

I wrote a python app to get it… you stopped it as it wasn’t a valid “user”… If someone has a way around this that can be done programmatically outside of running JS in debug mode inside the browser.

This request is everywhere. Another +1 with this.

Yes, exporting chats by a click of a button would be nice!!!

Lets get more requests! It’s ironic this is all about data privacy and protection. I should be able to download my current and archived chats with memories and delete them online if I like and make proper GPT assistants off the data.

openai isn’t learning off it. Whats the need to keep it locked down?

so i have complained enought and tried enough. my conclusion: chatgpt exporter on github does it well. i still wish an export button like in pro, but…
