Feature Ideas for Creative Image Projects – Flex Reset, Preview Mode, Prompt Archive & More

Mojn everyone,

I’ve been working on a long-term character image project and ran into some repeating roadblocks that others in the creative community might be familiar with. Whether you’re building a visual novel, designing an OC, or simply exploring styles and moods, some limitations in the current image generation setup make the process harder than it has to be.

So here’s a compiled feature suggestion list that could improve the creative flow for users like us:

Problem Statement:
Currently, image generation is limited per user by time-based constraints (e.g., daily quotas or hard reset times around 1 PM). This can create frustration for long-term creative projects, such as visualizing an original character, as spontaneous sessions are often interrupted or postponed.

Suggestions for Improvement:

Flexible Reset Times / Usage Windows:
Rather than having a fixed reset time (e.g., 1 PM), resets could be based on the user’s last image generation – like "24h from last use." That would better support natural creative workflows.

Previews Without Full Consumption:
A small-scale preview mode (e.g., 256×256) could help quickly refine ideas and test prompts without burning a full generation credit.

Favorites / Character Profiles:
Allow users to save recurring characters with preset prompts, LoRA combinations, and stylistic settings – helping ensure consistency and reducing frustration with varying outputs.

Prompt Archive with Tags:
A local or cloud-based archive where users can store their tested prompts, categorized by tags like mood, style, genre, etc., would be incredibly helpful.

Quick Feedback System:
Add a fast feedback option (like “Expression off,” “Color great,” “Wrong outfit”) for each image, helping to improve prompt logic or guide adaptive models long-term.

Target Audience:
Creative users with character-driven projects (e.g., visual novels, RPGs, writers, artists, manga/anime fans).

Example Use Case:
Visualizing a recurring OC in different styles (e.g., Gothic, temple ruins, pastel Moe, seasonal moods). Consistency and flexible generation access are key to making this a joy, not a hassle.

Conclusion:
These features would make image generation tools more fun, supportive, and empowering for long-term creative use. Thanks for reading – curious what others think!
