False Positive Account Deactivation - Appeal [C-risMd43ek62a]

Hi,

My organization account was deactivated due to a flagged safety violation. I believe this is a false positive.

I was using Codex to generate shell commands for a legitimate server migration on my own infrastructure. The system likely flagged these administrative commands as suspicious activity.

I have already replied to the trust & safety email but urgently need this resolved.

Could a staff member please review this case manually?

Hi and welcome to the community!

Was there a link or email address in the message that informed you about the account deactivation where you can submit an appeal?

We generally do not handle account level issues in the Developer Community Forum, and reaching out through that channel is usually the next step.

Thanks for the reply!

No, there was no specific link or form for appeals in the message. It only contained a generic instruction: “If you have any questions please contact us through our help center.”

I have already replied directly to the notification email (trustandsafety@…), but I haven’t received a response yet. I am reaching out here because this is a False Positive blocking my production workflow.

Update (Dec 18): I have sent the requested screen recordings to Support via email (Ticket #03800112) two days ago. The videos clearly demonstrate that I am locked out of the dashboard and cannot use the Help Chat due to the deactivation errors.

I am still waiting for the Trust & Safety team to review the evidence and my appeal (Case C-risMd43ek62a). As a Pro subscriber, my work is completely stalled.

Could a staff member please check the status?

It has been 10 days since the ban. I provided screen recordings to Support (Ticket #03800112) last week proving the dashboard is broken, but they stopped replying.

I am a Pro subscriber and my work is paralyzed. Can someone from OpenAI staff please look into case?
