Environment
Surface: iOS
Browser or app version: ChatGPT app version 1.2026.265
iOS version: 27.0.1
Affected feature and model, if relevant: Explore GPTs / GPT Store. Model not relevant.
Bug
What happened, and what did you expect?
The “Explore GPTs” option is currently missing from the ChatGPT app for iOS, even though this feature was previously available.
I had previously reported a similar issue affecting the Windows and Linux versions of ChatGPT. The OpenAI team responded to that report, and the issue was subsequently resolved on those platforms.
However, the same or a similar issue still appears to persist on iOS, at least on my device.
I expected the “Explore GPTs” section to remain available in the iOS app, allowing users to browse and access GPTs as they could previously.
Reproduction
Steps or a minimal example prompt:
- Open the ChatGPT app on an iPhone running iOS 27.0.1.
- Sign in to the account.
- Open the main navigation menu/sidebar.
- Look for the “Explore GPTs” option.
- The option is not displayed.
This issue does not depend on a specific prompt or model.
Diagnostics
**Exact error or screenshot:
**
There is no error message. The issue is that the “Explore GPTs” option is completely absent from the iOS interface.
Screenshot attached below.
When it happened (with timezone) and how often:
The issue is currently reproducible and occurs consistently whenever I use the ChatGPT app on iOS.
Observed on September 30, 2026, in the UTC-3 timezone (Brasília Time).
Thank you for your attention and for previously addressing the related issue on Windows and Linux.
If possible, I would also greatly appreciate it if OpenAI could consider granting me one complimentary month of the Pro plan as a small courtesy. I have been a loyal OpenAI user and have been actively helping identify and report bugs that may improve the experience for other users as well.
I completely understand that this may not be possible, but I would be very grateful if the team could consider it.
Thank you again for your attention and for your continued work on improving ChatGPT.
