Even After Canceling My ChatGPT Account You Charged by CC

I canceled my ChatGPT yesterday because I paid for Claude Sonnet 3.5.

I even have the message “ChatGPT - Your plan will not renew” from OpenAI.

Your ChatGPT Plus subscription will not renew and will be canceled, but is still available until the end of your billing period on Monday, August 12.

If you change your mind, you can renew your subscription.

Yet, today you charged my CC.

We have successfully processed your payment of USD 23.60 towards OpenAILLC, with Standing Instruction XXXXJMy7BB, on 13/07/2024.

I need to know… if I canceled my subscription 23 hours before it was to be renewed, why the heck did it get renewed?

As for your support, the only one talking there is your useless bots.

I will create a chargeback from my CC as I have the proof that I canceled this sub 23 hours before. Please return the money.

This just happened to me, so I canceled again today. Concerned about whether or not I will be charged again.

This happened to me as well. What’s the point of users posting on this forum run by OpenAI if they aren’t going to take the time to read this. Honestly, this firm got too big too fast and it’s gonna start to show.

Same to me. Cancelled last November but just found they keep charging me.

Same here. I cancelled my subscription in August 2024 but I got charged each month since then until now. The support team said that they would refund my ChatGPT Plus payment, but only refunded me for the month of January 2025. So they have incorrectly charged me 4x $20 with no refund…Puts me off using their products to be honest.
