Error "Too many concurrent requests"

Since 4o came out, I find that the ChatGPT window will output this error (“Too many concurrent requests”) from time to time. I get it both on my iOS device, and on my macOS client.

When it happens, it’s not like I’m having multiple conversations at the same time. I’m on one device, and having a regular conversation. However, this does seem to be increasing in frequency over the past month or so.

Thanks,

Jason

Yes, the same error happened to me.

Exactly the same here, makes it unusable.

I am getting the same error as well. Makes it so it won’t generate responses either.

Also getting this error atm. Never got it before. Assuming it is something server side going wrong?

Experiencing the same thing. So much fun - because I am not really sure, like you, what I am doing since I didn’t feel like I was using it too succinctly. Guess this is the limiter now unless you have the PLUS PLUS 5000.

Maybe there’s an ongoing war between two AI chatbots: ChatGPT and Deepseek lol! Both are getting DDoS’d

I knew I wouldn’t be the only one.

Maybe it’s time to deepseek.

the same problem,so how to slove it

Now, it has changed to “Unusual activity has been detected from your device. Try again later.”

same here. It’s not working.

is OpenAI team aware there’s a issue? the webpage is struggling to load as well, just get the chat bar but everything else is missing, I am on the pro plan
