Hi,
I tried to fill the submission form and in the MCP Server section i got this error when click “Scan Tools”.
In the network log it said bad request (400)
Does anyone know what is the issue? Thank you

Does your app’s MCP bits work with MCP Inspector? Always good to completely rule out any issue on your end first (maybe you have already but it doesn’t specify here).

I believe this is a bug that the form didn’t save my MCP URL correctly. I can see it’s back to blank when i refresh the form.
That’s why when I click “Scan Tools” it said “Draft is missing MCP configuration”

IM currently experiencing the same issue and have checked that the mcp server works correctly on MCP inspector
Am facing the same issue as well, tried on different browsers, and tried creating a new app as well from scratch

I’m assuming it’s on OpenAI’s end as when I click Scan Tools on a previous in progress submission, it works, but any new submissions don’t work. May have to give it some time.

I have faced the same issue
facing the same issue, unable to submit an app due to this.

We are facing the same issue. I’ve opened a bug report on OpenAI Discord server
We experienced the same. I contacted OpenAI support which ended up in a few hours of back and forth and troubleshooting and nothing really helped. Bug is clearly on the side of OpenAI. Basically as it stands no apps can be published at the moment 
for the past 5 days or at least since the bug was reported. I went ahead and tried to add the same MCP and app via personal account and it worked just fine. I also added and was able to use the same MCP via prompt in OpenAI panel. The MCP works.
My understanding is that in order to scan you need a verified domain. Domain fails bc it cannot read URL which is clearly there and saved as it displays in the textbox.
As you can see the domain verification data is not populated from OpenAI sides that’s the real issue.
