I’m currently experiencing a weird error where after I add an MCP server to my chat and perform a unit test (send through an input on the “chat with your prompt” on the right hand side - it returns the necessary.

However - when I call the chat via api - it is returning Error retrieving tool list from MCP server: ‘HH’. Http status code: 424 (Failed Dependency)

Then when I try again with a unit test - it returns Error retrieving tool list from MCP server: ‘HH’. Http status code: 424 (Failed Dependency)

I then remove the MCP from tools and re-add it back in and the unit test works again but i then loop into the same error when trying to run it from api again.

Sorry for the delay! Please compare the working UI setup with the API’s MCP URL, transport, and authentication. Responses requests must include the MCP authorization token each time: https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/tools-connectors-mcp.
