I’ve been using ChatGPT and I appreciate the effort put into improving the platform. I’ve encountered an issue with the reply rating system that I’d like to bring to your attention. When I’m asked to vote on whether the second reply is better, worse, or the same as the first, sometimes the first reply isn’t generated due to an internet connection issue or other technical errors.
As a result, I am unable to accurately compare the second reply to something that isn’t available. To improve accuracy in the feedback process, I would suggest adding an option or button that indicates “The first reply had an error” or something similar. This would allow users like myself to provide more accurate feedback when such situations occur.
