"EDEN" – A Sci-Fi Short Film Created by SORA

Just wrapped up a month-long experiment with Sora, resulting in a fully AI-generated short sci-fi film, EDEN.

All visuals were created with Sora, and the characters’ voices were generated using OpenAI’s voice models. The script and all dialogues were written by me:

Impressive work! Could you share the challenges you encountered during the creation process? Did you produce a video, or did you generate individual images and edit them frame by frame?"

I combined the video with shots made using prompts instead of frame-by-frame editing.

First, I created a style. Then, the following pipeline was used:

  1. Generate four videos at 480 quality for every prompt to create more variations faster.
  2. Slightly remix and upscale the best video.

For some scenes, I used an image reference to set the mood.

The most challenging aspect is maintaining consistency for the character. It’s not ideal, and I’m unsure if it’s feasible with Sora :confused:
