I am really curious is there going to be replacement for Sky with the new voice feature implementation ?
Maybe some voice modulation so we can make our own assistants voice ?
I haven’t had access to the new voice features yet, but I’m really looking forward to the actual rollout.
I haven’t heard about any voice modulation features, but currently, ChatGPT offers voices like Cove, Juniper, Breeze, and Ember.
Maybe the TTS API voices like Alloy, Echo, Fable, Onyx, Nova, and Shimmer might also become available on ChatGPT.
Having more options lets us choose voices we like best, and it’s always fun to have more choices as a user.
Hello, Sky is not available with the advanced voice mode, you can use custom accents, though singing is not available. There are no new voices, just four that were already released trough TTS.
Sorry, but there are currently six types of named voices available for the API’s TTS, and the four types of voices available in ChatGPT cannot be used from the API, or does it mean that in the new voice mode, four out of these six named voices can be used?
It means that four out of the six named voices can be used.
@grandell1234 , thanks for the info , Hey @grandell1234, thanks for the heads up! I didn’t know that singing wasn’t included in the new alpha rollout. Any idea when OpenAI might add that feature? Also, if you have access to the new Realtime advanced voice mode, how are you finding the new voice features?
