Does Sora get an update any time soon?

Sora was announced what feels like years ago.

I find it lacking in coherence, it is better then all if not most video generators, but lacks adherence to the subject matter in theme, thought and idea.
It lacks ability to keep text coherent and it does not do physics quite right.

Is there going to actually be any improved model any time soon to fix some of the unwanted behaviour?

After months of waiting no Update and with Veo being a thing Sora seems extremely lacking and priced with the most insane greed you can image.

Seems more like a half assed model for which I have had to start releasing extensions because of how much the company lacks attention to detail when it comes to features:
