It is very unclear if providing an image via base64 vs url affect input token count. I know it affects bandwidth, but I don’t know if I should just upload images to some dummy site of mine and provide links instead of direct base64.

It should be the same count per image, I’ve not actually done the test myself, but it should be identical.
