The deep research blog post is insane. Can we expect this model via an API-based offering anytime soon?

I don’t even have it over at chatgpt pro yet…
sure it would be nice, same for operator, but it could also be similar to “search” where it never hits the api

I think there will be plenty of opensource alternatives that will utilize openai models at the very least, or open source or other proprietary models. The huggingface community has already scraped something together, but these still need evals. Maybe these opensource alternatives will compel openai to put this model and maybe even a framework (they did realtime and assistants w/ threads).
Also, just over 70% of openai’s revenue is from ChatGPT, the rest is API revenue. So naturally they are top heavy on ChatGPT

Definitely it would be amazing to get access to the API for research 
So it simplifies many current workflows of iterated, compile and post-process.
