I would like to add a shortcut on my phone screen to my newly created GPT. What are my options? Using the browser functionality to add to the home screen (Chrome) it takes me back to generic GPT chat and not my own.

I just tested it and it works.
The link for your shortcut should look something like this:
I created this shortcut by browsing to the webui at chatgpt.com then selecting the GPT.
Under some circumstances, which aren’t clear, long pressing on the Android app will pop up a deep link to one of your GPTs. From there you can put the deep link on your home screen.
I thought about that but what browser are you using? For me, chrome Android, did not worked.
