Subject: Bug Report – Cursor Jump & Delete Issues in Full-Screen Mode (ChatGPT Android App)
Body:
Hello OpenAI Team,
I’m reporting two serious text editing issues found in the latest version of the ChatGPT Android app:
-
Cursor Jumps When Typing:
When I try to insert a word in the middle of a paragraph, the app allows me to type only one word before the cursor automatically jumps to the end of the text. This makes it difficult to edit or revise existing content. -
Cursor Jumps When Deleting:
Similarly, when I delete a word from the middle of a sentence, the app deletes the word correctly but then the cursor jumps to the end, disrupting the editing process.
Important Observation:
This issue occurs only when I tap the expand arrow (top-right corner) to enter full-screen editing mode. Typing and deleting work perfectly in normal mode, but the bug appears consistently in the full-screen editor.
What I’ve Verified:
The issue occurs on multiple Android devices.
It did not exist in older versions of the ChatGPT app.
Appears to be a new bug in the latest version.
Both typing and deleting actions trigger the issue.
