Create Your Own Codex Pet!

I was feeling sad that the installed codex pets have one based on water, fire, earth, and then another one for earth…

But nothing to do with the wind/air…

I’m a little biased for the wind if you can’t tell!

So I tried the option out to make your own pet!

But the codex session it builds to do that with can’t sent you text comments and doesn’t let you see when you steer the converstion.

It ended up getting stuck in a loop and you’re unable to see the prompts I had to send to pull it out -

I love the feature, the pet is working now… it just gets stuck if it needs permission.

Hey @windysoliloquy! Appreciate you sharing this. The custom Codex Pet idea is fun, and it’s helpful to know where the setup felt a bit rough.

If the flow gets stuck around permissions or the steering prompts aren’t easy to see, I can see how that would be confusing. I’ll pass this along to the team so they can take a closer look at the experience.

No timeline to share right now, but thanks again for flagging it.
