Codex usage page: the usage bar chart Broken

Issue type: Codex Usage Analytics page issue

Actual behavior:
After opening the Codex Analytics page, the “Usage details → Personal usage” section does not display the bar chart. Instead, it only shows the empty-state message: “No data during this period.” Other parts of the page appear to load normally, such as the “Auto recharge” and “Credit usage history” sections.

Reproduction status:
I have verified this issue across multiple ChatGPT accounts, and the same problem occurs on all of them. Therefore, this does not appear to be a single-account data issue. It seems more likely to be a bug in the official Codex Analytics page or the backend usage data API.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log in to ChatGPT.

  2. Open the Codex Analytics usage page.

  3. Stay on the “Usage” tab.

  4. Check the “Usage details → Personal usage” bar chart area.

  5. Switch the time range, for example “7 days,” “1 month,” or “Custom.”

  6. Observe that the personal usage chart still does not display.

Expected result:
If the account has Codex / Codex Cloud usage records, the page should display the personal usage bar chart for the selected time range. If there is truly no data, the UI should clearly distinguish between a real “no data” state and a data loading failure.

Actual result:
Multiple accounts all show “No data during this period,” and the personal usage bar chart is not displayed.

Screenshot:
I have attached a screenshot. The screenshot shows the Codex Analytics page, where the personal usage section does not show the expected bar chart.

Welcome to the forum!

You are welcome to discuss Codex issues on the forum, however the official place to report and track them is the GitHub issue tracker for OpenAI Codex.

I had ChatGPT look for the closest related issue and it identified:

If that issue matches your problem, consider adding a :+1: reaction on the GitHub issue page itself, not just on the forum topic, as reactions on GitHub help the developers gauge impact and prioritize work.

If it is not the same issue, try searching the existing GitHub issues for a closer match. If you cannot find one, then open a new issue with as much detail as possible.
