I’m facing an issue where the chat I was working in disappears after restarting VS Code. This has happened several times.
Because of this, I have to start a new chat every time and explain the code/context again from the beginning. It ends up consuming around 80% of my usage just to rebuild the previous discussion.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a way to restore previous chats after VS Code restarts, or prevent them from disappearing?
Hey @evaxes, checking back since this thread is a few months old. Are you still seeing previous Codex chats disappear after restarting VS Code?
I’m going to close this thread for now since the report is older, but if this is still happening on the latest version, feel free to start a new topic with your Codex extension and VS Code versions so we can take a fresh look.
