Codex not opening in chatgpt

Hi! Same on here. I upgrated to teams, just for codex, its monday and still nothing. I feel scammed. This is the first time OpenAI claim a feature was there and actually was not there. And usually we get the updates pretty fast for Plus accounts. If I cant get access to codex as promised and advertised, I might cancel my subscription.

This is not fair. All the hype to not be able to use the tech.. I’m feeling super frustrated now.

Same issue on Windows trying to launch via the official Windows Store App. Have to launch through the ChatGPT website in order to use - but it works… and I have been using it. A lot.

It’s now Monday 7:30 PM my time zone, the working day has almost ended and no roll out on teams plan yet. I purchased a team subscription on Friday, it was stated Codex would be available on that day. Then you said Monday. Now Monday is over and no roll out of that feature. I now feel like the time, money and effort of all of the Teams community is not being respected by not giving us any further updates.

Hello again. So I am from Puerto Rico and I was wondering if it is going to take longer for us devs in PR. I still don’t see it, today it felt like waking up for Christmas with no presents to open :pleading_face:

I literally just paid for it and the page won’t load.

Just signed up (and paid for) a new Teams plan today (6/3/25). No Codex section in Settings, no other visible way to access it. How long will it take to show up in a new Teams account?

Update - the Codex option showed up after a couple of hours and appears to be working, but there’s no documentation that this would be the case. Just a little notice like “some features may take some time to be enabled after creating a new account or upgrading an existing account” would go a long way.

Hello, I also have a ChatGPT Plus membership, but when I enter the Codex, it asks me to connect with GitHub, but I cannot connect the accounts. Is there a solution to this issue? I would be very happy if you could help.
