Beginning earlier this morning, if you start a Codex conversation and respond back to Codex after its initial turn, Codex loses its original context.
This occurs both on mobile and web, both when using “Ask” and “Code” buttons. Typically the tool will maintain its original context so you can iterate on approach / get clarification before it begins coding.
Filing a bug here as it’s not mentioned on the OpenAI Status page.
