I have the same issue - It suddenly disapeared. It it not even in those environments that I had it activated. The toggle is no longer there though it says the envornment has the agent internet activated. Has OpenAi notified that they are working on this bug? Does anyone know?
I have these problems too.
I think you can try changing the value of the parameter responsible for enabling the Internet in the agent in the PATCH request

Is there any official bug for tracking this issue? Having no internet access renders codex on the new repos almost useless.

Same for me! Internet connection under settings simply disappeared!
I found it to be such an essential feature for my workflow. I am a Plus user. I’d be willing to share access to all my repositories for use in training new models in exchange for access to that feature. Or like I’d be willing to pay, say 10~15 bucks just for that internet access.
The pricing model could be much improved. OpenAI should get itself a PhD in Economics (Industrial Organization field). Having a two-tier, two-price scheme is such a loss of potential value.
I really hope they are not removing the feature for Plus users.
They should take into account that this is not Netflix! OpenAI’s model suite comprises a complex set of tools and models, serving multiple distinct market segments and use cases. Having a two-tier (a: have something plus, b: have everything) is definitely not the optimal product-pricing policy.

When I use Codex CLI I cannot find the option. I have to go into config file and change it there. And even after that internet access only works in WSL not in the Codex CLI extension.
To me, when I ask it to grant itself internet access, it should just get it.
