Take a step back and put yourself in OpenAI’s shoes… They’re trying to give equal access to frontier models to as many people as possible. At the same time, bad actors around the planet are trying to scam and take advantage of everything, which puts strain on the servers for normal customers.
I think things will get better soon as the tech progresses and more compute/electricity comes online. I’ve been working with OpenAI since GPT-2! Yes, not many years but forever in “AI-time!”
