Out of interest, which model was this and what was the reasoning level? It’s worth noting that at the time of writing, /goal is an experimental mode, at least in Codex CLI.

Yeah, that’s weird. It needs to have some executive layer that monitors this and decides when to call it quits, and maybe even send the model off in a different direction? It makes no sense with scarce resources (at high cost) to just loop like this. I’m sure that’s solvable, let’s see what happe…
