Codex CLI under WSL: Screen trash & no copy (cntrl-c) support?

Running version 0.8 under WSL on Windows 11. Two really irritating issues so far:

  1. I see a lot of screen trash after running for several iterations (for example, text that’s pasted might start in column 1 - those characters don’t get removed as the terminal updates with new content)
  2. I can’t copy from the codex window ( control-c doesn’t work ). So if I absolutely need the content, I have to screenshot and get chatgpt to convert to text.

Are there any workarounds or configuration changes that can help here?
