Please direct me to the setting if I’m missing it, but it seems in the Codex app we can’t set the default reasoning level or model.
Version 260210.1703 (602) on MacOS.
I can see that after an automation has run and created a thread, I can go into that thread and change the model and reasoning level for subsequent prompts, but there’s no where to set this for the initial automated prompt. It seems to default to GPT-5.3-Codex Medium. Would love to be able to set it to High or Extra High for some automations.
