Hi team,
May you please look after the mechanism on how chats get loaded to the web UI?
The issue is for some longer chats (beyond 15 queries) does not get loaded with efficacy. I am aware that I can branch in chat.
Thank you,

Hey @anujlahoty1997,
On August 21, 2026, OpenAI released the “Faster long conversations on the web” update. ChatGPT now loads longer conversations in smaller sections instead of retrieving the entire chat at once, which directly addresses the slow-loading behavior you described.
If you’re still seeing unexpectedly long loading times, please contact OpenAI Support so the current behavior can be reviewed.
