The replies became slower than Googling - the main feature of chatGPT has disappeared.

After sending a prompt, my laptop fan starts rotating at its full frequency and CPU load goes to 100%. What the heck are you doing with my computer? Are you mining or what? Just let me pay you a few bucks more so that youβd stop please, ok?

The browser shows a warning about the page being not responsive and suggests killing it.

chats die several times per day. I have to close that tab, restart the browser, and clear the cache, and suddenly chatGPT is functioning again. Or not. This is very annoying.
I donβt understand how a product can get worse and worse upon the time and so quickly. In its current state chatGPT is almost unusable.

Yeah, itβs *!#Β€#! ridiculousβ¦ CPU pegged at 100% while itβs responding (firefox). Maybe they used the LLM when building the UIβ¦
Iβm almost suspecting my CPU is the limiting factor in how fast it can respond some timesβ¦
(sorry for the anger :))
same thing for me in Firefox. Needs to close the tab and reopen chatgpt to actually be able to see the answer. tried cleaning cookies and site data without success.
For me, it happens when I use the same conversation/chat for too long and doesnβt start a new chat. I think the website gets hanged and unresponsive due to using the same chat for too long.
Is there anyone with the same problem?
