Chatgpt sets up fake data instead of browsing internet and come with real data, why?

Hi guys, what is wrong with my promt:

give me a list of 20 painters/painting companies in Copenhagen with their company names, addresses, trustpilot ratings, established date, completed projects, e-mail, web address, total income for projects in Danish kroner, VAT number, telephone numbers. Sort the list of companies according to their ratings in descending order. Only give the answer in Danish and in JSON format without additional text or explanations.

The results are just fakte data and not real data from internet :confused:

Are you using the API?

The models on the API do not have access to the internet. This model is doing exactly what you told it to do.

Additionally models have improved safety wrt sharing PII hence you’re unlikely to get such data purely from the model.

If the model has no access to the internet, is there any way to make it work reliably with real-time data? I’m using the GPT-4 model, and I thought it had internet access.

Is there a workaround to obtain real-time data from the internet via an API or other methods?

Yes, the model can be made to ingest real-time data on-demand with function calling.
