ChatGPT no longer works in iPadOS Safari

In the last couple of weeks, and just as I upgraded to Plus, ChatGPT now no longer works for me on an iPad web browser.

  • When entering a prompt, the “send” arrow button greys out.
  • Prompt text remains in the text box.
  • Prompt is not sent and does not trigger a response.

This is iPadOS 15.6.1 (yes, two generations ago). Affects iPadOS Safari and Chrome, too - the two browsers use the same rendering engine. Same in Private mode.

Has anyone else found this problem?

iPhone Safari on iOS 16.6 works okay.

Yes. They want us to buy new Apple devices :smiley::+1: because on my old Android it works :clown_face:

I’m going through the same thing with my iPhone 7. My account works perfectly on my Samsung tablet and smartphone, but this bug occurs on my iPhone.

Yes, this problem only on old iOS versions…

I don’t want to update iPadOS, and I’m also unable to run the iPadOS ChatGPT app.

I think I’ll need to unsubscribe from Plus, as iPad is my primary device for most of the day.

ChatGPT doesn’t work on my apple iPad or my Huawei nova 5t phone. It usually just has a black dot but sometimes says how can I help you today?, when I type a response it doesn’t send
