Is anyone else having issues with the ChatGPT macOS app on macOS Tahoe?

For me it’s basically unusable:

  • Every prompt gives “Hmm… something went wrong”

  • If I reset the app, it finishes loading the response, then it breaks again when I try to send another one

  • Happens in every chat

Web and iOS work fine on the same account/network, so it seems like just the Mac app.

Also seeing some weird logs when launching from Terminal (duplicate class + a ton of Statsig errors), not sure if related.

Just trying to see if this is happening to others or if it’s something on my setup.

Yes, I’m seeing this as well. It affects nearly every chat. If I wait and switch out to another chat and back and hit refresh, it sometimes completes, but not always.

It mainly happens in the ChatGPT app and very occasionally in Safari. Just started a few days ago. It doesn’t happen on my iPhone.

I’m having the same problem on Chatgpt Mac, and it works fine when using a browser.

I’ve done the following:

  • logged out
  • cleared data related to Chatgpt

This works fine on both the iOS app and the browser.

I tried using a different email address and registering Chatgpt, and it works fine. However, I’m still having the same problem with other email addresses registered with Chatgpt Go.
