ChatGPT doesn't allow me to interrupt

Chatgpt doesn’t allow a interrupt anymore before it has finished the previous prompt.

I.e., it starts writing a response, when it does and it’s not outputting what I want I press the stop button
Then it says “failed to generate” only shows the retry option and doesn’t allow me to create another prompt.
This is with all models for me.

same same with me. This is extremely frustrating. It needs to be resolved immediately.

Yeah ChatGPT will do this, I don’t think they are going to change it back unfortunately

why? this is definetely poor design and very frustrating. if I’m forced to restart the conversation completely to be able to adjust my query or forced to wait for useless verbose response generation I will just switch to some alternative. It seems more like a bug.
upd: cancelled my subscription for now, quick queries started taking too much time for me, maybe will be back if/when it’s fixed, cheers!

If this is not fixed, I will unfortunately have to look for alternatives. This bug
is costing me a lot of time every day! The worst bug since I use ChatGPT Pro! I’ll wait for another month and am forced to cancel the subscription too if not solved. Very sad, though I love ChatGPT

This is indeed frustrating, this has been happening for some time and has me considering canceling my subscription as well
