ChagtGpt app Only not connecting to Internet on Windows

Chatgpt was working fine till last night but suddenly this morning when I tried to use it on laptop running on Windows 11 it suddenly is not connecting to the net. It is working fine on browser and on my phone (also android). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, flushed DNS, switched off firewall and defender settings, tried resetting the router, uninstalling antivirus, Installing microsoft edge webview2 , changing the time and everything but the problem still remains the same. I am also using claude on the same laptop and it also works fine . I am using free chatgpt and i use it on laptop and phone only. I have tried all the ways but the problem still persists. Any help would be great .

I am happy to tell u all that this morning when i opened ChatGpt app everything was responsive and i could connect to my account and use all of my chats . I am thankful to all u who have tried to help me. The issue is closed from my end . :slight_smile:

My problem is not similar to those problems. My problem is that my app is just not responding. It just stays on the welcome screen and nothing happens when i click anything.

I’m having a similar issue. I cannot see the contents of the chat window at all when I click on a chat in my history or when I tried to start a new one it only works online.

Yes. I am having exactly all these same issues. Icons disappeared, text not rendering, and after long clean uninstall and reinstall I get non-responsive Log in button. Even Sign-in for Free button is non-responsive.

If you are having the ChatGPT app log in problem then this is different from the OP problem. Let me know if you are having the ChatGPT app log in problem so I can move you reply to

I am having the same problem as well with the desktop/Windows version of ChatGPT. Nothing generates when starting a new chat or messaging in existing ones. I already went ahead of trying to repair app which I got an error code (0x80073cf1), so I went ahead to uninstalling the app to installing it again. Which then doesn’t allow me to log-in. The clickable links are not responsive, so now I am unable to log back in on desktop.

ChatGPT seems to work just fine via Internet on Google Chrome.
