Using canvas, it is unable to render formula’s using latex. Chat GPT then gaslights me saying that it is formatted correctly.
When I manually add latex to the canvas, it still fails to show the formula and deletes everything below that point

Thanks for noting this, after reading this a possible solution that does not exist AFAIK popped into my mind.
Thinking out loud, wondering if an eval can be used? How would one create an eval that makes use of canvas?
On a similar thought, have been wondering if Canvas could support LaTeX in a manner similar to how canvas supports HTML pages in understanding HTML, JavaScript and CSS combined. As there are many who use LLMs for math, chemistry, etc. that use specialized linear text to represent more complex ideas, this should not be a large step for use with canvas.
Note: I am not an OpenAI employee, just a forum regular.
