The first thing I thought of when I got access to canvas was to give it a picture of my written math and to generate a LaTeX document; It worked incredibly well. A TeX engine to render the code right there would be great especially because rendering TeX in a normal chat already works so well.

I tried to use canvas to edit latex formated text on canvas but always hit the wall somewhere.
It would really be a nice canvas feature for us on the math community to have a better interface with latex and such.
