Can't create more than one task

I’m using ChatGPT Plus.

I created my first task with no problem. But I can find no way to create additional tasks. In the Tasks window I see only the Scheduled table, with my one task.

I’ve tried “Create new task: [whatever]”, but ChatGPT responds: “Currently, I can’t create tasks directly in ChatGPT for you, but you can set it up yourself by following these steps:” The third step in its instructions is to “Click New Task or Try Your Own.” But no such buttons exist in the Tasks window.

In a video, I saw someone clicking a Task Settings option. But it’s not in my UI.

I get the same results in both Edge and Chrome.

I’ve cleared my cache, logged out and logged in, tried the “ChatGPT 4o with scheduled tasks” model. But nothing helps.

Any suggestions?

I have the same issue - the only thing visible on my Tasks page is my one scheduled task. No buttons, chat window, etc.

EDIT - found the solution - “You can also create a new task by asking ChatGPT. You’ll first need to select “ChatGPT with scheduled tasks” from the dropdown menu on the top of the screen. Then, ask ChatGPT to create a task like “Remind me about my mom’s birthday on March 13th”.”
