@bbhusari I disagree with this, you can do creative work with AI. Creativity and AI are not mutually exclusive… IMO generating quality content will become an art form in of it self. JMO
My specific focus is around technical writing but there’s a lot of overlap. The reason to leverage AI in technical writing is that technical documentation often becomes stale and out of date shortly after it’s written. The SDK changes, new features are introduced, a button moves to a different screen, etc.
We use humans to do the vast majority of technical writing currently and they can’t keep up. They’re overwhelmed. It’s a thankless job and you’re always behind. AI has the potential to revolutionize technical writing tasks.
I don’t think the benefited can or should be limited to just technical writing tasks. Video games is one example of an area where solid creative writing skills would be appreciated. There’s simply too much dialog in a video game to have humans write everything and do a good job. I’m sure there are other scenarios.
That is something SPECIAL!
But you are still going to need an editor to read every word and every bit of code to confirm it’s not bugged and/or hallucinated?
Yes of course human oversight will always be needed but with this tech what was once redoing a whole book for a few changes is a much simpler process. AI is not a cure all, it just makes the process smoother. We all use AI in work right?
