Feature Request: Bulk Select & Delete Chats

Please add the ability to select multiple chats in the sidebar and delete them at once.

Currently, chats have to be deleted individually, which becomes very time-consuming when cleaning up a large chat history.

Suggested UX:

  • Add a “Select” mode in the chat sidebar
  • Allow users to select multiple chats
  • Provide Delete selected and optionally Archive selected
  • Include a confirmation step before permanent deletion

This would make chat history management significantly faster and more user-friendly.

This would be so helpful and seems to have been requested a lot of times already. Your chat sets it out really clearly so I really hope @OpenAI_Support can give an update on the progress of this request and all the similar requests before it as I can see a response to a much earlier chat saying the feedback been passed on to the development team.
